Address CHANGE to support business within ISO 9001:2015

Process approach, risk based thinking, continuous improvemet could imply changes within the QMS.

ISOTC 176 has releasd a paper having the scope of explaining the new requirement for change, specifically in clause 6.3 (Planning of changes), clause 8.1 (Operational Planning), clause 8.3.6 (Design and development changes) and clause 8.5.6 (Control of changes).

Change is intended to be beneficial to organizations and one of the ISO 9001:2015 revision goals is the enhancement of the requirements for addressing change management at system and operational levels.

According to ISO/TC 176, the ISO 9001:2015 requirements provide a strong basis for a management system for business that supports the strategic direction of the organization.

After in troducing the argument and underlining how important is the relationship between  risk based thinking and Change in a process approach system, the paper goes through things to consider  when implementing the new requirement for Change, typical steps to implement changes and what changes may need to be made.
